We strongly believe in developing closely connected families of lifelong learners and that clear covenants between parents and students make for a more effective learning community. 

Covenants between each student and his or her guide will be developed in the classroom, with input from students, and signed each semester in a special ceremony.

Covenants between each parent and the school also will be signed each semester. As we learn, these covenants surely will be modified between semesters, but a sample parent contract (pdf) with the school for the first semester is available.

We believe in transparency between the school and the families we choose to serve. Parent and student satisfaction surveys will be collected weekly, and significant bonuses for guides will be based on end of semester student and parent satisfaction ratings.
